Hello and Welcome to my Store!
All my pieces are handcrafted in my studio in South London, I use a variety of hand building techniques including pinching ,slabbing and coiling but I specialize in Kurinuki. I don't focus on perfection, I follow my mood and I let myself be inspired by the clay when it touches my hands. My work is characterised by a simple and minimalistic look, charming and organic with a bold touch!
Each piece is unique and has its own character... just like each one of us!
Because my pieces are all hand made none of them are the same. When you own one of my pieces you will have an original that won't find anywhere else. Due to the nature of the making process there will be minimal variations in the shape size and finish from piece to piece.
I hope you enjoy looking through my shop, and if you decide to buy any of my ceramics I hope you love it as much as I do.
Love, Marianna xx

Embrace the random imperfections that come with the pieces; this is the beauty of the maker's craft hand.Due to the nature of the making process there will be minimal variations in the shape size and glaze from piece to piece.
Kurinuki is a Japanese term relating to a particular hand-forming technique which involves the hollowing out of solid clay form by carving. I make various shapes and sizes using this ancient Japanese technique using stoneware clay either white or a flecked speckled type of clay. All my cups are different and none is the same. I make and sell the listed below but for a more personal experience you are welcome to request a special order choosing the size of the mug, the clay and different finishes applied. Prices may vary.
